I really recommend site http://www.mapchannels.com. It allows you to create more interesting maps. First of all, it shows all the place marks - no paging. Secondly, you can filter and search the place marks. I have also turned on the optional setting, that will filter the list of place mark based on the piece of map that you actually see.
It's great to work on PC, unfortunately I have not found a way yet to search for an address, and it doesn't work well with mobiles (well, you can open it, but it won't see your location).

When I'm in the field I just use Google Maps and in the layers I turn on my map - it loads the place marks around the place that was visible on the map, more or less. Sometimes work pretty badly, but it does the trick. I have NO idea how can you add my map to your maps. Anyone?
